My first pic ever posted on DeviantArt...I feel so special.

As one can see, this is Don Patch after entering his "Super Patch" form for the first time in episode 75 of the Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo anime (which has yet to air in the US; not sure what manga chapter, though). After watching one of his allies fall, Patch is so overcome with anger that he undergoes a Super-Saiyan-style transformation. As his anger grows, so does his power, and his appearance changes to reflect that. (I might draw some of his other appearances later...)

I made this one by taking a screen shot of the scene , redrawing it on paper (fixing a few minor details to make the picture look better and adding in pieces of his body that were cut off by the screen), scanning it, then digitally outlining and coloring it in Flash. Originally, he was clutching the enemy's sword, which explains the cracks around his fingers. However, I thought it looked way too bland, so I decided to add the flaming background instead. It really helps make him look all the more awesome, even if the BG is of a lower resolution than I would have preferred...

The pic is currently 800x600 pixels in size, ideal for a small desktop image. If you'd like me to make enlarged versions for different desktop sizes, however, let me know in the comments section. Who knows? If there's enough demand, you may be seeing Super Patch supersized soon...
